Brent Green was born in western Michigan. He attended Albion College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communication. After obtaining his Master’s Degree in Literature from the University of Delaware, Brent taught high school English, speech, and debate for over 20 years. He and his wife are proud parents of four children.
Ready for new challenges, Brent graduated from law school after an internship with two judges in the 17th Circuit Court of Kent County. Additionally, Brent spent time as an intern with a pro bono clinic that helped economically challenged clients. Shortly thereafter, he clerked for a small family law firm before starting his own practice in Grand Rapids. Brent was admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan as well as the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and the Michigan Bar Association. He was appointed to the 17th Circuit Court’s lists for Neglect & Abuse, Juvenile Delinquency, Mental Health, and Felony Defense. Additionally, he does appellate work through the Michigan Appellate Assigned Counselor System (MAACS). His primary areas of practice are family law and criminal defense . |
